@Hmdwgf I think you're overreacting a bit. If anything, you're the one who's not following the WP:BRD cycle. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 02:46, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There hasn't been a consensus established, let alone reached over that image or any of the other images on that page. So if you want to establish one, do it on the talk page- remember, you're the one who reverted the image. Also- the Houston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia stadiums aren't depicted with soccer fields, so if you could find images with soccer fields in said stadiums, that would be great. Thanks.--Hmdwgf (talk) 02:51, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Hmdwgf Yes, I did revert. And that's why I brought up WP:BRD. BRD stands for "bold" (that's you, boldly switching the image), R (that's me reverting your edit), and D (that's where you take it to discussion instead of reverting my revert and leaving a boilerplate message about how my edits appear to be disruptive). You should follow your own boilerplate advice and familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and maybe seek consensus if someone disagrees with your edit. And if you look back at the edits and read the summaries, you would see that there's been a long-held preference for soccer photos whenever possible. No, you switched the image before, and then I reverted it back to the image you switched out for your image. Let's take this to the talk page.--Hmdwgf (talk) 03:11, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm wondering if you have me confused with another user. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 03:17, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just want to note that the user you reverted on the dates for the 2026 World Cup—AMamun84—is up against 3RR after making the same change at 16:34 yesterday, 14:06 today, and 14:28 today. Plus, as you noted, the date format that user persists in using is wrong. 1995hoo (talk) 20:14, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adeletron 3030, I just want to make sure you are aware of the RFC at the WikiProject_Football talk page (I am not sure how to post a wikilink for that, so try pasting this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football ). A user started an RFC to force the use of either British or some amorphous "Commonwealth" English for ALL purposes (including British spellings like "recognise," etc.) for ALL World Cup articles regardless of the host country. It's pretty clear that the majority of people commenting are all European and are all going to rush to agree with it, but I figured you ought to weigh in because your edits to the 2026 article have shown you care about the issue. 1995hoo (talk) 17:10, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
