Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hey, please respond in Talk:Battle of Košare[edit]

I see you're a new contributor, so I just wanted to give you a heads up. We should try to avoid edit warring (per WP:EW), so please respond in the Talk section on the Battle of Košare article if you disagree with my edit to the infobox. Thanks.--Aleksamil (talk) 19:57, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Battle of Paštrik. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Vanjagenije (talk) 22:12, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Battle of Paštrik; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.User456541 15:43, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop reverting or I'll request XCP. –User456541 16:01, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Adhurim Kacupi, you are reverting on an article which falls under Arbcom sanctions and you run the risk of a strong reaction. You've already been blocked once and that seems to have made no impression on you. You are continuing to push your version, on the grounds that only you know the truth. This would be a good time for you to patiently wait for consensus at Talk:Battle of Paštrik. Administrators who notice this dispute will probably have to decide whether to indefinitely block you from Wikipedia or to ban you from editing Balkan articles. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 19:09, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, edit summaries like this one are unacceptable. Note that for Wikipedia, ethnicity of contributors is irrelevant. Only the strengthen of sources is relevant. Vanjagenije (talk) 20:20, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sali Çekaj, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Košare. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ekrem Rexha moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ekrem Rexha, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
