December 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Evan Spiegel. Thank you. --Scalhotrod (Talk) ☮ღ☺ 01:59, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Evan Spiegel. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Scalhotrod (Talk) ☮ღ☺ 02:21, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

Hi, no hard feelings on my part regarding the 3RR Noticeboard. In fact I'm happy to offer advice or help out with any articles you'd like to expand or develop. This is a complex site and community and there is a lot of policy to learn as well as how to apply it. I learn about new things all the time, just yesterday I was made aware of an exception about which people can have their birthday listed on a particular "day page" such as December 27. Happy Holidays, --Scalhotrod (Talk) ☮ღ☺ 18:14, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
