You added an important aspect. I have rewritten part of the intro to include the specifics of Bosnian and Albanian families volunteering their children according to William Gervase Clarence-Smith as opposed to the general 'Christians and Muslims.' I also managed to find an actual contemporary source, Paolo Giovio, describing the lengths other Christians would go to to avoid their children being kidnapped by the Ottoman authorities, including bribing Ottoman officers to overlook their children to actual mutilation. This is for balance in the mini section of the intro on Christians volunteering their children. I hope to add more balance to this article and I hope you like the section I rewrote adding contemporary sources. Again, thank you for your edit and please monitor the article as it is open to abuse. Hi, and thanks for your contributions to date on James Oglethorpe. I noticed you cited Harris 1841 several times. Please note that this is not a reliable source and I deliberately didn't cite it. Harris is a unitarian minister and not a historian, and much has been revealed on Oglethorpe since the book was published. See Spalding, Phinizy (1972). "James Edward Oglethorpe: A Biographical Survey". The Georgia Historical Quarterly. 56 (3): 332–348. ISSN 0016-8297., where Spalding notes that Harris's book is "highly laudatory and error prone". Hi, Aeengath. I started copy-editing Austro-Hungarian occupation of Serbia (nice work) and I noticed a few of the sources are from 1914 and 1915 (WP:PRIMARY and WP:AGEMATTERS). Given that the article has been promoted to GA, it would be best to use modern sources. There is also at least one source that is self-published (Xlibris is a self-publishing service; these aren't considered WP:RS as per WP:SELFPUBLISHED). Holocaust

Hi Aeengath, better we discuss on the talks than in diffs. I was referring to the alleged number of Jewish civilians reported to have obtained “Honorary Aryan” status. Tanner cites the Nazis claiming 5,000 plus “thousands” and Bartulin states it was actually 100 or 500 if including the respective families. Being the conflicting figures I thought ut made sense to include both than replace one with the other. Perhaps we could find more sources on the topic to get a better averaged number. The military service I admittedly lifted from the NDH wiki article. I likely should have double checked if it was correctly cited to begin with. I’ll take a look. Also, I added the Serbian collaboration entities that assisted the Germans in the Holocaust. There seems to be ample sources for it and figured it should be included if detailing Nazi extermination of the Jewish population. Not sure if you were aware of this part. I originally included the info of leaders in the NDH having Jewish ancestry which made the SS distrust them but I feel I may be over bloating the section. Thoughts? Hi OyMosby, I would prefer Dr Nevenko Bartulin since he is a historian and he wrote a book on the subject called “Honorary Aryans National-Racial Identity and Protected Jews in the Independent State of Croatia” while Marcus Tanner is a writer journalist but it’s probably best to have both so thank you for doing just that. Mentioning collaborators is of course important you are right, regarding the leaders of the NDH I personally think its best to stay on facts/numbers and focus on the victims. have a good day! Getting logged out

Hey, are you familiar with Wikipedia having logging issues? I keep getting randomly logged out. If I don’t check, it exposes security issues like broadcasting my personal IP as you saw on the Ottoman battle article… I tried the “keep me logged in” check box but no dice.. Also I would prefer you do not link my private IP adress to my account. One shouldn’t do that as it is violating privacy. Again doxing security concerns. I’m not sure why name me. Regardless if we agree on an edit or not. You can see I got logged out on our talks on the Holocaust talk page. I would prefer you just mention it on my talk page not the public edit diff summary.
