First and foremost, I want to clarify that this account is not shared. We are aware that Wikipedia does not allow shared accounts. I am interested in writing about a company that has maintained sustainability in the American market for over 12 years. My intention is to update the information that was removed from Wikipedia on March 15, 2023. I'll give you some free advice in that you must go and immediately request deletion of the logo from Commons, unless your company indeed wants to make the logo available for anyone to use for any purpose with attribution. If you want the company name in your username, it needs to be in the format of "JohnDoe of Affine AI". Your real name is not required. You will also need to read WP:COI and WP:PAID(which includes general employment) and tell us what you will edit about now that you know that, in the short term, you will not be permitted to edit about your company. 331dot (talk) 11:07, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:31, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

In addition to what Drm310 said, you also have to consider the fact that the username was only one of the reasons for your current block. You have not addressed your violations of WP:COI and WP:PAID at all.

Rather than attempting to push an admin into making a quick decision that would simply result in a name change and a denial of the unblock request, you should do what was alluded to above, and make a good faith effort to make it clear that you understand what WP:COI and WP:PAID mean and tell the admins what edits you plan to make other than to your company, as that will be off limits. Decline reason:

This account has been renamed, which resolves that aspect of the block. Reviewing the merits of the block itself(which I hadn't done the last time), you fundamentally misunderstand WP:COI and WP:PAID. You said above that you wanted to edit about "our company". If you are employed by Affineai, you are a paid editor, you do not need to be specifically paid to make edits. Working for a company is 100% a conflict of interest. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company or anything for which you have a conflict of interest. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road.
