Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Hello Afrihealth support. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Linda Obi, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Afrihealth support. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Afrihealth support|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. BuySomeApples (talk) 22:52, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for the feedback. While i have personal ties with the subject of this draft, i am not getting any financial compensation for this article. Its simply an act of good will Afrihealth support (talk) 12:57, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You claimed that the studio pic of Linda was your own work. This does not appear to be the act of someone without a paid connection. Cabayi (talk) 09:58, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The studio pic of Linda isn't my own work, and I have never claimed at any point that it was mine. I only claim that
  1. I am not getting any financial compensation whatsoever for this article.
  2. This article was simply written out of good will.
People take pictures all the time, and i dont think it should be a reason to take down an edit or it imply it also. I am not a photographer and never claimed to be. Afrihealth support (talk) 14:38, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Look at the image's summary. You declared that the source of the image was "Own work". That's a clear claim to be the photographer.
  • "I am not getting any financial compensation whatsoever for this article" is not a denial that you are an employee, which is what your username implies. Cabayi (talk) 11:30, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
