HELLLO[edit]

March 5 Today, after defeating the enemies of my great and noble cousin Duncan, Banquo and I saw a sight so hideous and blasphemous! Three witches, worshippers of the serpent, were together and they told us some prophecies that shook my bones! The only way I was able to stand was with the help of the Blessed Virgin and the brave Saint Andrew. Those pagans told me that I was going to become Thane of Cawdor and the King of Scotland! They also told Banquo that his sons are to become kings! I was startled and confused and I’m sure Banquo was to. I was contemplating what the pagans had told me, when Ross appeared and greeted me with the title of Thane of Cawdor! He told me that the former Thane of Cawdor was a traitor and the King Duncan gave me the title because of my loyalty and victories on the battlefield! Is this an act of the Almighty or a work of evil which I must be careful about? What should I do? Should I kill my brave and loved cousin? Is it worth becoming king of this great land? March 10 12:00 PM I have been insulted! Duncan has named Malcolm as heir to the kingdom! What should I do next? Why do I have to carry such a cross! I have invited Duncan to my home at Inverness, where I hope to keep an eye on him and where I can plan my scheme. I have also written a letter to my wife so that she can give me some advice. I hope she doesn’t let greed and avarice blind her. I must be careful on what I should do next. March 10 3:00 PM I just arrived from Forres. The King and his party will arrive in some hours. My wife has let greed get into her head and even called on the servants of the snake to come inside of her, so that she can become brave and have no feeling of remorse! Who is this demon I have married? She also called me a coward and told me that I do not have the guts to kill Duncan! She told me to treat Duncan with great respect to honor him in any way possible so that he can feel confident and relaxed. I will not do this. He has honored me greatly and I cannot betray him! March 10 9:00 PM I gave in! At night my wife will drunken the King’s servants and that’s when I’m going to kill the King. Her plan is to blame the servants and that way no one will suspect us! It is a brilliant plan but my heart is frightened and worried! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.211.166 (talk) 14:08, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
