Blanking Page[edit]

I reverted the article Landmark Education Jargon not blanking it - please look at the whole thread! That was already discussed extensively and then it was "repopulated after it was decided by consensus as non-notable ad redirected to the original article. After that article deleted that content as non-notable the minority view points tried to reverse the consensus decision to redirect this article. I have now set it up for deletion. If you could delete it that would be great! Alex Jackl 19:45, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response - thank you - I thought I put the delete template on the main page. Thanks for pointing that out. We are having a lot of trouble with people pushing minority POV on the Landmark pages and now that their is a concensus and management happening by multiple editors on the Landmark page they are spreading out to "fringe pages" and adding non-notable POV content there. Thanks for your diligence.

The page was a redirect before Smee started vandalizing it. I reverted his vandalism and then I put an AFD on it. Please look at the page history. Jossi (an admin) came in and worked with us and at the we redirected the page. Smee is now going against that to avoid his pOV-pushing being exposed on the Landmark page. BTW: Smee was the cause of the Landmark page being locked because of his POV pushing. Alex Jackl 20:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism of User:AJackl[edit]

You called it like you saw it, appropriately. What you saw was vandalism, pure and simple. The redirect was agreed to after the consensus was to merge the material into the main article. Once that material was removed from the main article, I removed the redirect, to restart a dialogue. Obviously the other user in question does not wish for a dialogue, but rather is content to vandalize. Smee 20:21, 15 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Absence of link to User Talk[edit]

I believe there is a template called User Talk:<your username goes here> that adds a small link that says talk next to your name. it will help users find their way to your Talk Page. 71.96.77.70 17:41, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That, I believe, is actually a custom signature, set in the account options. Think I might do that now...--AgentCDE 17:42, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Testing... There we go.--AgentCDE / Talk / 17:44, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Doris Day Affair[edit]

Admit it: This is either a fucking riot or a fucking abortion! Take your pick.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.236.61.97 (talkcontribs)

It's rather bland, actually.--AgentCDE / Talk / 14:15, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add false, libelous userwarnings. And use the templates at least.--AgentCDE / Talk / 06:09, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

For the quick reversion of vandalism on my userpage, I give you this WikiThanks flower!

Thank you!--AgentCDE / Talk / 19:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with the page User:Old Firm Fans Forum on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Dfrg.msc 07:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahem. Not experimenting. Rolling back to an vandalized version.--AgentCDE / Talk / 07:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry mate. The version looked very much like vandalism (some one should have words about a page clean-up) and the fact that another user was editing confused me further. Sorry for the mix-up. Regards, Dfrg.msc 07:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem. The page does look suspect, but I figured it was better to have suspect content than blatant vandalism.--AgentCDE / Talk / 07:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,

Sorry about the recent edit on User:DaGeekyNerd/Ataxia. We failed to inform you of this, but we are actually the developers of the game, and we didn't intend to announce the game this early. DaGeekyNerd is a member of our development team, and we'll likely get him to change the page later. Hope we didn't cause any trouble.

Cheers, Andy

Please be more careful. I was simply archiving a stale discussion, which you would have noticed if you would have gone to the page instead of using Twinkle. I admire those who battle vandalism, but this was clearly a mistake. Ursasapien (talk) 07:14, 21 April 2008 (UTC) Thanks for your correction. Ursasapien (talk) 07:16, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
