Can you help me understand some of the revisions. I understand verifyability, but some of the changes, where I corrected "wine maker" to "winemaker", which is a spelling simple spelling issue, I don't see why that would be problematic. Agentcru (talk) 00:17, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest?[edit]

Yes, that's true - I wanted to be transparent, as the introductory material suggested I should be. Does Wikipedia never allow those with a conflict to work on the page, even if they follow verifiablity regs? Thanks! Agentcru (talk) 00:19, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. Conflict of interest editing is strongly discouraged, per WP:COIEDIT. It's one of the few things nearly all Wikipedia editors agree on...that Wikipedia shouldn't be used for advertising or self-promotion (which is what you'd be doing if you received some benefit for promoting Addison Rex...who according Rex's LinkedIn, is a person code-named "Agentcru"). In fact, Draft:Addison Rex been rejected because it reads like an advertisement. Also, I doubt Addison Rex meets Wikipedia's notability requirements. I only found one reliable secondary source that had any biographical depth, see [1]. Anyway, I have a bottle of Domaine Leroy Musigny Grand Cru waiting in the fridge. Cheers. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to 2021 Hula Bowl. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
