January 2019[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Denise Mercedes, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Conflict of Interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Aherron76. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara 19:05, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Request reason:

I believe I deserve to be unblocked because this block was handed down 8 months ago when I was still learning the platform. i formally did some charity work with a subject i was writing about, at the time i didn't know this was a conflict of interest. Since then i have come to understand the rules of wikipedia and how the platform is to be used and not used. I was not advertising the subject at all since the subject already has been featured in numerous articles and has a pretty large following as is. I simply thought when people do good things especially in the area she was reaching into then they should be reconignized for it. There are numerous resources for teh subject i was writing about and when you google the subject name they are easily enough accessible. Since this is the case i believe i should be unblocked and allowed to contribute to wikipedia.

Decline reason:

You seem to think it is impossible to violate WP:PROMO if the subject is widely known. That's obviously false. And come on, you surely knew it was a conflict of interest. How could you not know that? And your contributions were entirely unsuitable for Wikipedia anyway, for multiple reasons. Wikipedia isn't the place to recognise people, that's fundamentally not what Wikipedia is about. As you don't seem to understand Wikipedia at all, I can't lift the block at this time. Yamla (talk) 12:13, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What subjects do you want to write about, if unblocked? PhilKnight (talk) 19:44, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking[edit]

I would love to contribute to history subjects and main as it pertains to the history of unions as I don’t think enough information is out there. I am also interested in contributing to movements that are just starting. Aherron76 (talk) 20:27, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
