I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Engr. Muhammad Ahmad Sadiq, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Writing about yourself on Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Ahmadsadiq40. I am sorry you are having such a frustrating experience. I notice that you have been trying desperately to write a page about yourself on Wikipedia. I am sorry to say that no matter what you do that will not work on Wikipedia. Social media sites like Facebook and LinkedIn encourage people to create pages about themselves: Wikipedia is not like that. Wikipedia is not a social media site but an encyclopedia.

The only place on Wikipedia where you are welcome to write about yourself is on your user page User:Ahmadsadiq40, and even there you are allowed to give only brief biographical information and that in your own voice--not the voice of Wikipedia. For example you could write something like the following there:

My name is Muhammad Ahmad Sadiq. I was born in Multan within the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Recently I completed the graduation degree of Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim yar Khan.

Beside that you should write not about yourself but about subjects like electrical engineering and other subjects the interest you. Trying to write about yourself will lead only to frustration. —teb728 t c 09:31, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
