Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ajameson1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

September 2021[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at General Dynamics–Grumman EF-111A Raven. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 05:29, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 20:36, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tobacco industry[edit]

Hi. I reverted your additions to the tobacco industry article because you used Wikipedia as a source. Wikipedia cannot be used as a source in other Wikipedia articles. Please look for high-quality sources, preferably from scholarly sources. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:30, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
