Your userpage[edit]

Hi- I notice that your edits are all either to your userpage, or to images to place on your userpage. Please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a social networking site, and thta our userpages are here to aid in building the encyclopedia, not as free webspace. Userpages of users who are not contributing directly to the encyclopedia often get deleted as they serve no real purpose. If you are writing the page there in anticipation of moving it into the article space, please take a read of our guidelines on autobiographies. J Milburn (talk) 12:04, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:Ajay-sir-with-pm.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ajay-sir-with-pm.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 23:48, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Messages left on my talk page[edit]

Hi- I'm assuming it was you who left this message on my talk page- if not, please feel free to ignore this. Please note that personal interviews constitute original research, and so are no good for verifying information on Wikipedia- instead, information must be attributed to reliable sources. Note that primary sources do not constitute reliable sources in the majority of cases. Concerning the images, Image:Ajaydata with tie.jpg looks like a publicity photo, Image:Akd yeo.JPG was deleted as it was missing source or licensing information (see some help on uploading images) Image:Interview--XGEN.pdf was deleted as PDFs are generally deleted if not included in articles (it's considered a poor file format to use anyway) and I listed it for deletion as it was either a copyvio from a reliable source, or original research, both of which are useless. Image:Et spamjadoo dr antidote.jpg appears to be a picture of a newspaper, which will be copyrighted and not freely licensed. Image:Ajay-sir-with-pm.jpg was deleted as it did not specify the copyright. Note that material used on Wikipedia must be either freely licensed (not 'free for Wikipedia to use', but for anyone to use for any purpose, even commercially or with modification- see Wikipedia:Copyrights). Note that the article on Ajay Data was rejected as it was not written from the neutral point of view, but in fact sounded more like an advert. If you're interested in that side of things, your best bet would be to contact Someguy1221, the person who rejected it. If require further help with the image side of things, please feel free to contact me. J Milburn (talk) 17:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission has been declined three times now, and all for the same reason; as J has stated, because it was not written from a neutral point of view. Basically, the submission is littered with highly opinionated statements, and opinionated adjectives appear all over where they are not necessary. Wikipedia articles should focus on factual content, and opinions should only appear when they have been mentioned by a reliable source, and even then it should be clearly stated who holds the opinion. File:Akd sanjay yeo.JPG listed for deletion[edit]

File source problem with File:Excellenceaward.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Excellenceaward.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:23, 21 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 11:23, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Ajaydata with tie.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ajaydata with tie.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 11:23, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Akd small image.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Reply[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. You gave three references, but two were to the company and one to your own website, no independent third-party sources
  • I can't see any claim of notability as defined above. we have no indication of membership, staff numbers, income or expenditure, or any other hard verifiable facts to prove notability
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to your website
  • Contact details are spammy and encyclopaedic.
  • Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: proactive and dynamic... strong national and international linkages... acts as a catalyst... positively impacts the economic growth and development of the nation... PHD Chamber is more than an organisation of the business community, as it lives by the chosen motto ‘Skilling India for Global Competitiveness’ and contributes significantly to socio-economic development and capacity building in several fields.
  • the article was a copyright violation of this page. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. That page has no such disclaimer. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes, so there would not be any point in your jumping through all the hoops that are required.
  • You have a conflict of interest when editing this article, and you must declare it. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.
  • As an editor with an obvious conflict of interest, you are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ajaydata. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ajaydata|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}.
  • I have indefinitely blocked the page User:Phdcci-Rajasthan with which you are associated as a breach of our user name policy. I strongly suggest that you do not create articles in which you have a conflict of interest. Please do not edit further until you respond to my request that you declare your COI, in the point above this.

Further reply[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~.

  • The organisation may well be important enough to have an article here, but you must follow our rules as I've tried to explain in detail above. To summarise:
  • Any article must give facts about the organisation to show why it is notable, have independent third-party sources to verify those facts and be written in a neutral tone. It must be written in your own words, not as a copy or close paraphrase of a non-free source (which is unsuitable even if it were not copyright)
  • Even if you are not paid, you still have an obvious conflict of interest, and you may not be the best person to write a neutral encyclopaedia article. Thank you for agreeing to declare your COI on your user page, although I see you haven't done so yet.
  • There is nothing to stop you trying again, but if you don't follow the guidance above, it will be deleted again. We are an encyclopaedia, not free advertising or a private page for your organisation

I hope this is clear Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:43, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:PHDCCI-Rajasthan-Building.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PHDCCI-Rajasthan-Building.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Its still not there, and I have no idea what to do to make it worthy of staying. It still reads like a puff piece, and ad, shows no notability, and is being pushed for addition here by an account that is dangerously close to getting block on promo grounds for sharing a name and rather blatantly promoting Ajay on Wikipedia. My advice is to stop trying to publish the article and move on to something else - wrestling, cars, medicine, drug abuse, etc - for the next 6-12 months to put diversity in your editing history lest you end up blocked for all time on Wikipedia. MfD nomination of Draft:Ajay Data[edit]

Draft:Ajay Data, a page which you created or substantially contributed to (or which is in your userspace), has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Ajay Data (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Ajay Data during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. ProgrammingGeek talktome 17:15, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article EAI-Downgrading has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability concerns. The term is used in an IETF RFC but I see no other coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. power~enwiki (π, ν) 22:11, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
