If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Alaa Aly/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on User:Alaa Aly/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://erf.org.eg/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/1112.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Alaa Aly. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:30, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Fixing" redirects[edit]

Hi, you do realize that edits like this one are absolutely useless, I hope. Edits that don't result in any change in visible output are generally discouraged. Also, the edit summaries (and the speed with which these edits are made) suggest that you are using a bot for this. Do you have approval to run this bot? --Randykitty (talk) 09:37, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Please stop "fixing" redirects. Not only is this unnecessary, it is in fact discouraged. See WP:NOTBROKEN. DuncanHill (talk) 09:57, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please shut down the bot[edit]

You need to get your bot approved before running it. See Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval and WP:BOT. You need to shut down the bot as soon as possible because this account is going to get blocked if it continues. RoostTC(ping me!) 10:08, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I already closed it. Thanks JustDoIt (talk) 10:10, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Bot:changing"[edit]

Edits like this appear to be tests which you should not be making in mainspace, and which you should have reverted yourself as soon as you realised they were unhelpful. DuncanHill (talk) 10:09, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. TigraanClick here for my talk page ("private" contact) 10:17, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please note, an account flag "extended confirmed" was added to your account, but as it was obtained via unauthorized bot edits it has been manually removed. This will not impact most editing. After you make 500 more constructive edits, you may request this be restored by posting at WP:PERM/EC. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 20:02, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

making edits like this, which is obviously wrong. Phil Bridger (talk) 11:58, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

what's wrong on this JustDoIt (talk) 12:03, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You removed an article on a living person from category:living people, and marked the addition of the category as test/vandalism. If that is not obviously wrong to you then you shouldn't be editing Wikipedia. Phil Bridger (talk) 12:11, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What's wrong is that the subject of the article is a living person, and all living persons belong in Category:Living people, so you should not remove the article from that category. More generally, what's wrong is that most of your edits are being reverted because they make Wikipedia worse rather than better. It may be better to start with areas of Wikipedia that are easier to understand. Unfortunately, as the encyclopedia anyone can edit, we get plenty of actual tests and vandalism which should be undone, and you are welcome to revert those instead. Certes (talk) 12:16, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You were clearly wrong here too. I suggest you refrain from blindly following the suggestions of an obviously error-prone tool. DuncanHill (talk) 12:27, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:50, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
