Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for taking the time to write the Bluenose Chapter of the BMW Club article. However, it does not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, and has, as a result, been marked for deletion. Please do not be disheartened by what may happen to it. Just continue to edit Wikipedia and add articles which are suitable for an encyclopedia.

Speedy deletion of Bluenose Chapter of the BMW Club[edit]
A tag has been placed on Bluenose Chapter of the BMW Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Should these organizations be here at all?[edit]
A very good question. Frankly, I don't think a very good case can be made for any of these groups to have their own articles on Wikipedia. If you were to nominate any of them for deletion, I'd say that they don't qualify as notable. Perhaps this is more a matter of perspective. I would think the same could be felt regarding other things as it is by many regarding "motorsports" and it's related activities. Those not involved, or disinterested, tend to think very little of these things unless something brings them to our sphere of selective observation, very much like horticulture for some, politics for others, or collectibles to still others.
Possibly most notable, is how relatively small (none the less fervent), the following is for Motorsports and it's related venues, clubs, etc., in North America versus the rest of the industrialized world. With the exception of NASCAR, which has is a beast onto itself and really hasn't had any relationship to any other motorsports in the world until the huge dolloars started to attract outsiders, it's not followed much by those who are "Road Racing" fans.
As I type this there are few truly notable things about the club that come readily to mind, except perhaps that two of it's lead instructors had developed such a high level of driving/racing skills that even though their racing efforts into the US were very limited and on extremely small budgets, they were so successful (often finishing 1st, and 2nd) that the sanctioning body for road racing in the US, the SCCA, was forced by it's membership to change their rules to counteract the effect these two Canadian drivers were having on Regional and National Championships in the US.
