Looking for things to do?

You might also look into adding an info box to Lisa Casagrande. See Dianne Alagich as a model. Another thing you might consider is adding photos to articles without photos. Caution, you cannot simply grab a photo from the Internet, you have to get specific permission from the copyright holder (unless you take it yourself). What I have done, with some success, is go to the team website, track down the name of the media relations person or head of communications and send them a request for a photo. Explaining that it does have to be properly licensed for use in Wikipedia. Early on, I used to point them to the language preferred in a permission statement, but I don't think that get used very often. What I do now is tell them I will fill out a permission statement for them, and if they then provide a photo, I upload to Commons, fill out the permission statement for them and asked them to return it. I then send it in to OTRS for processing.

In most cases where I have done this the player is currently playing for a team. I haven't tried it for a retired player so that may be less fruitful but I think it still worth a try.--S Philbrick(Talk) 12:59, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

List of Unusual Deaths

We've had a long struggle of List of unusual deaths, and the result (documented at the top of the talk page) is that items can only be added if a source is found that directly describes the death as unusual. They are specifically not to be added using personal judgement as the reason for the classification. I see so you need an article saying it is unusual? It must use that word and only that word? Common sense does not apply with these infamous cases? I see who is causing this struggle and it's you. For example the man who agreed to eat his own penis and then be murdered and eaten why do you think it received so much attention if it was not unusual? Honestly I have mainly stayed away from wikipedia because it's always people knocking others over utter rubbish such as this like bullies in a playground. Need help

We need more neutral opinions here. I've followed instructions here and at Wikipedia:Feedback request service and to used the user lists there. I've sent a message for neutral input to everyone active recently and available for 10 per month or more on the lists in the Language and linguistics, Media, the arts, and architecture, Society-sports-culture, Unsorted and All-RFCs lists, none of whom have interacted with me before, that I can remember. Biography feedback requested

Your input is requested about an RFC regarding Donald Trump. Here is a link directly to that RFC. The lead of that biography currently says, "Many of his statements in interviews, on Twitter, and at campaign rallies have been controversial." New Challenge for Oceania and Australia

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest!
