DEAR MODERATOR, SOME TIME AGO WE SUBMITTED AN ARTICLE ON DUTCH ACTOR AND PLAYWRIGHT JON VAN EERD THIS WAS FOR REASONS UNCLEAR TO US NOT ACCEPTED. WE HADN'T HAD THE TIME YET TO PROPERLY MEET WITH YOUR REQUESTS.

BUT THE REAL REASON WE ARE WRITING YOU, AND WE HAVE NO OTHER WAY OF CONTACTING YOU, IS THAT WE WERE APPROACHED BY SOMEONE WHO IS CALLED (Redacted) WHO OFFERED TO REWRITE AND SUBMIT THE ARTICLE IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT WOULD ACTUALLY BE PLACED IN WIKIPEDIA. IT WAS A KIND OFFER WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED. IT BECAME CLEAR TO US THAT IT WAS A HIGHLY MISLEADING AND BRUTAL EMAIL WHEN THE NEXT CAME STATING WE WOULD BE CHARGED $200 FOR DOING IT. THERE HAD BEEN NO MENTION OF THIS, AND SINCE WIKIPEDIA PROUDS ITSELF AS A FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA WE REALIZED IT WAS A SCAM. THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WAS USED IS (Redacted) WE HAVE WRITTEN AN EMAIL TO HER/HIM SAYING THAT WE WOULD REPORT THIS TO YOU. WE ALSO WARNED THAT WE WOULD PROCEED AND TAKE LEGAL ACTION SHOULD THIS HARASSMENT CONTINUE. WE HOPE YOU APPRECIATE THIS INFORMATION. The person who contacted you is a scamster and a fraud, currently blocked as a consequence of Orangemoody editing of Wikipedia.I will request you to cease any form of communication with the person/group and forward the entire conversation to the functionaries, so that we can tackle them better, in future.~ Winged Blades^Godric 06:35, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
