The first Search Results were poor. Clearly 'Lewis and 'Harris' need to be removed as search rules, as they simply produce articles including personal names. I will add further significant changes to the rules before the next sweep. The syntax for the rules is a little arcane, so if WP:ISLE members want to add suggestions here I'll watch for them. Ideal words would be those unlikely to appear in a different context e.g. 'Hirta', 'Minch' etc. rather than e.g. 'Gaelic' or 'Yell'. Its disappointing that 'Barra' creates a search result for 'barracks' (Although the Geronimo (exclamation) article was quite interesting). Ben MacDui (Talk) 07:30, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The second Search Results with extended searches simply produced a longer list of irrelevant articles save one about Glandaruel. Arran, Hoy, and Minch had been amended to compensate, but possibly too late for the bot to pick up. Further searches to avoid probably include Papa and Inch. The third result worked in that only one article was found, (referencing a Swedish gent called Lasse Holm), there were no new articles that were completely irrelevant. Song of the Clyde appeared in the log, but not the results from an earlier search. Not sure why. Ben MacDui (Talk) 19:49, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
