Album article creation[edit]

Please stop creating articles on albums without aseerting any notability or providing any evidence of coverage in reliable sources. I am redirecting them to The Infamous Stringdusters as I find them, rather than deleting them outright.

I added assertions of notability to Laws Of Gravity (The Infamous Stringdusters album) and Fork In The Road (The Infamous Stringdusters album) to prevent them from being deleted. As far as I can tell, all the other album articles you created could be deleted. You can do this by adding the tag {{db-g7}} to each article, or just blank them and someone will come along and delete it. Remember, this is an encyclopedia — a repository of significant facts in human knowledge. Wikipedia isn't a fan site, so it shouldn't have stand-alone articles about albums that aren't well-known.

I suggest reading Wikipedia:Golden rule, and scan through the articles linked in that document. If you create articles, and you need time to work on them, create them in draft space, or in your sandbox. Wikipedia:Help desk can answer questions, or you can just ask me on my talk page.

The album articles you created couldn't survive in main article space because there was no evidence of notability. "Notability" in Wikipedia terms means "having significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." The term "significant coverage" is critical. It means in-depth coverage, not mere mentions or listings on a directory site. Of the photos you uploaded, you don't own the copyright, therefore a fair use claim is invalid. The photographer owns the copyright and the photographer needs to give the Wikimedia Foundation permission to republish it. ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Alexa2721. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 2 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
