Proposed deletion of Edmund Keli’i Silva Jr.

[edit]

The article Edmund Keli’i Silva Jr. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Essay-like.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Removing AfD template

Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 01:10, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

image proposed for deletion

[edit]

I did not realize that I was violating a copyright as I took the painting image off the internet and used photoshop to combine it with a personal image I have. If this must be deleted then please advised.

Article Removed

[edit]

I removed the article because the neutrality of it was questioned. I am not going to continue to defend an article, which is based on truthful facts, as it doesn't serve the greater good while at Wikipedia.

Moving forward

[edit]

Do not attempt to represent the Kingdom of Hawaii or Edmund Keli’i Silva Jr. in an official capacity on Wikipedia or you could be blocked from editing. As an editor, you may not place outside interests above that of the project (Wikipedia itself) as that creates a conflict of interest. You have declared yourself a representative of Kingdom Attorneys on my user talk page so I Googled you. You are indeed linked to the organization. Since you placed the content on the article and also appear to be the creator of one site you added, you have already violated policy and guidelines. However, I have corrected that by the removal and that situation is stale as it was months ago. I am concerned with your recent contact on my talk page. For the record, as a Wikipedia editor, I owe the community "edit summaries" when editing and have corrected my occasional forgetfulness with an automated prompt, that however, does not require me or any other Wikipedia editor to respond to requests from attorneys in proxy through you or anyone else. Remember, your actions here can effect the reputations of those you represent or support. I am requesting you retract your comments on my talkpage by deletion or using the <s></s> brackets with your text inbetween and saved.--Mark Miller (talk) 22:58, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you are clearly identified as a COI editor, you can still use the talk page on the article to makes suggestions and even use their sandbox to create content that you can then request be added by a more experienced editors if all protocols are met.--Mark Miller (talk) 00:40, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the article List of Hawaiian sovereignty movement groups. I have made extensive changes, including returning most of the information previously deleted with stronger, third party, secondary sources and added content with more referencing.--Mark Miller (talk) 07:17, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
