Your first new article[edit]

There are some resources above, especially selected for new editors writing new articles.
My advice:

(1) Find out how to create the new article in your own User Space, that is, as a sub-page (WP:SUB) under your Wikipedia:User page. There is a WP convention that other editors refrain from editing articles under development in 'User Space'. When you have made a good start on it you can move WP:MOVE it into WP:Mainspace. There is an excellent 'infobox' in Wikipedia:What is an article? to get you started.
(2) Be sure to have at least one reference, preferably several, for the article by the time you move it to WP:Mainspace or someone may propose it for WP:SPEEDY deletion.
(3) Try to keep it factual and not like a WP:fansite or advertisement. Be careful of WP:COI and understand how WP (Wikipedia) defines WP:POV

This should get you started. Please get back to me if you need more help. I strongly recommend using Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions for further tuition. Regards --Greenmaven (talk) 04:39, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
