Speedy deletion nomination of Spring Hill Nurseries[edit]

A tag has been placed on Spring Hill Nurseries requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Removing Speedy at Spring Hill Nurseries[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Spring Hill Nurseries. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

I removed the deletion tag as non-notable, as the article shows importance. However, it had some other major problems, and, as a result, as reviewing administrator, I deleted it.

  1. The central part of it was copied from another web site http://henryfields.com/article.asp?ai=195&bhcd2=1230711596. This is a violation of copyright and not permitted. (and the rest of it read as if it had been copied from some previous publication as well).
    It was altogether promotional You also need to write like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--don't praise yourself, say what you do. Even if you can get and can give us permission to use the web site, according to WP:DCM, the tone with not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable. For further information see our FAQ about business, organisations, and articles like this.
  2. Additionally, it did not have 3rd party sources. You need to show notability with references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. That;'s not a reason for immediate deletion, but the article can not stand without it.

However, the articles you wrote are not spam and I wanted to say thank you for writing them. Both Spring Hull Nurseries and Peter Bohlender are well done & the coverage of these subjects improves Wikipedia.
