Restoring PROD[edit]

Hi. Regarding this edit to Craftsvilla, please note that WP:PROD prohibits restoring a PROD tag on an article if the proposed deletion is contested by anyone, even the author, and even if it was done otherwise-than-in-good faith. Even though they removed other valid maintenance tags at the same time, that is not a legitimate reason to restore the PROD. Please feel free to take this article to WP:AFD if you think it should still be deleted. I'd probably even !vote to delete the article given the current sources. Thanks, Nick—Contact/Contribs 19:02, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Sorry for the mistake as I intended to restore the maintenance tags on that page. Anyway, I do not think the article meets the notability guideline for inclusion at least for now so I am taking it to AFD for a consensus. Thank you for the note. Regards. --Allahomora (talk) 14:09, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wong Xiang Yi[edit]

Hi, I am user chanpaknam903. I have seen your comments on the page I created (Wong xiangyi). Thanks for your notificaton. I am just saving the page constantly to avoid the lost of whole work, which explains the missing of the reference temporarily.

So, I am writing to ask for the article to be undeleted. Thanks. 01:50, 4,April, HK

Hi, I have removed the PROD myself. But the article still needs some credible sources for citations.--Allahomora(talk) 14:49, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why was the webpage I created Deleted?[edit]

The material was taken from the author's personal webpage and was entirely correct. Finderroot (talk) 16:16, 5 April 2016 (UTC) Finderroot[reply]

Deleted page[edit]

Please let me know why my page was deleted. The information was correct and followed other entires of authors such as here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepa_KumarFinderroot (talk) 18:30, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The page was created for advertising/promotion purpose. --Allahomora(talk) 05:19, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

copy paste tag[edit]

My article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ChemSep has been given the copied and pasted template. What section of the article is it, that violates the policies? The content has been partially written by me after using the software, and partially sourced from the cited sources, only for facts and technical terms, with sufficient editing.Aashishthakur.one77 (talk) 15:16, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The version I tagged was copied from some other source or a word file. Thank you, --Allahomora(talk) 15:20, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Change of speedy tag[edit]

Thanks for patrolling new pages, an essential and under-appreciated task. Just a note that WP:CSD#A1 lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article wasn't the best tag for Ekant dhoot just now: the article was certainly short, but the subject was clear, this guy Dhoot. WP:CSD#A7 no indication of importance was the right tag. This may seem nitpicking, but choosing the right tag is important so that the newbie understands what was wrong and maybe does better next time. There is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:19, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the note. I will be more careful from next time. Regards, Allahomora(talk) 14:34, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted post[edit]

Hello Allahomora! I love the Hairy Potter reference!!! But back to business. You may remember deleting a wiki page on Justin Carter. This is fair annoying as he has gotten 200 VEIWS on YouTube and anyone in our school knows who he is. I find it annoying that you are the one who gets to decide what is "credible" or "noteworthy" because Justin I assure you is. If you could revive the page that would be great!!! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!! 😝🤗😊😋👌👍👶💃🎓 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wrecked1337 (talkcontribs) 16:31, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hungry Shark[edit]

I had to decline a speedy deletion of Hungry Shark as none of the criteria apply. Video games don't fall under the "credible importance" criterion and being "noteworthy" is not a criterion either. Judging by the latest game getting 10 million downloads in less than a week, putting it in top 10 bestseller lists, I strongly suspect this is a notable series. Did you look for sources before nominating? I added one. Fences&Windows 21:15, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the trouble but thanks to you for the assessment. I can only find this[1] reliable source so I think AFD will be better place to discuss about the notability. Thanks, --Allahomora(talk) 18:20, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

reviewing[edit]

An article on a computer model with no references and with no particular evidence to support significance needs more than just tagging for unreferenced. Such products are not usually notable, and need to be either deleted or combined into more inclusive articles. I added a prod tag to Lenovo K3 Note; if the contributor wants to improve it they will have seven days to do so.

More generally, looking above, there have been too many incomplete reviews. P;ease do not mark the articles as reviewed until you gain more experience, though you may certainly continue marking articles for problems, Thebest way to acquire experience is to write articles, or add material to existing articles. A good way to start is by looking for references for articles that do not have sufficient. DGG ( talk ) 22:40, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lenovo K3 Note mobile phone model seems notable because of multiple independent reliable sources[2]. I added unreferenced tag to the article so that the creator can add sources to it. If you check my edit history, I have also contributed to some articles and rescued some articles from CSD as well. Anyway, I appreciate your advises and I will try to acquire more experience. Thank you. Allahomora(talk) 14:54, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, you are still not recognizing those subjects that ought to be listed for deletion, instead of merely being tagged. My previous comment was intended as a hint that you should stop reviewing new articles for the present. But now I must say outright that, as an administrator, I am going to insist that you stop marking articles as reviewed until you gain further experience. DGG ( talk ) 19:05, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I might be an inclusionist rather that a deletionist but I accept your command as you're an administrator here and much more knowledgeable Wikipedian than me. I will do as you suggested. Thank you. Allahomora(talk) 19:47, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Take it from me too, I have noticed your reviewing and I appreciate but I have noticed afew things including subjects are seem non-notable. I'm happy to help so feel welcome to ask me for insight. SwisterTwister talk 19:55, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
