Neal Boortz[edit]

I replied back to you on my talk page but here it is in case you're not watching it... I listen to the show often and I think the article correctly identifies him. A vote for a Republican means nothing in this day as a vote for a Libertarian is just about a wasted vote unless your trying to make a statement. In such a close and heated election, why would he waste his vote on Badnarik. The Libertarian party is split on many issues and that's why Neal is more precisely classified as a neolibertarian or a republitarian. What matters is his philosophy and that is mainly libertarian. He would "waste" his vote on the Libertarian, Badnarik, because he's a Libertarian. But the argument is much bigger than one vote. He influences hundreds of thousands of votes, and this vote was the big one. He was motivated to influence those hundreds of thousands of votes towards the Republican candidate, Bush, and therefore away from the Libertarian. Do you think the Libertarian Party approves of that? I can get a card saying I'm a member of the Democrat Party, but my voting action and my campaigning actions are more important and give greater insight into my true beliefs and philosophy.
