As a family member it seemed a good idea to add a few more memories for Art Bell. Michael R Wild (talk) 05:57, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bell[edit]

I have included some new pictures.Michael R Wild (talk) 08:48, 19 January 2009 (UTC) His death was in 1980. I think I the death certificate is gone--he is buried in Trenton. Florence his second wife passed away five years ago in Louisiana. Art Bell, Jr. son by second wife lives down there. My grandmother "cleaned-up" all the paper records years ago.[reply]

Please feel free to move the play bill (not a clipping but a picture of a play bill stuck in a steamer truck was just discovered and returned--I took the picture yesterday). I will add more when I have better information. I am on vacation at Michigan and have access to some of the records here. My sister has most of the documents and she lives in my grandmother house. Michael R Wild (talk) 23:42, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have his death certificate? I have never been able to find him in the census. Can I also move your press clippings over to Flickr as a backup? Wikipedia isn't archival but Flickr is. Anyone can delete the images in an instant if they don't like them, and do it tomorrow, or in 10 years, or in 50 years. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 17:24, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have found him in census in 1920 and I have his passport application and his draft cards. I have updated some more facts. I also discovered more books on KKK and that Art testified to congress. I am also starting a search at the FBI Michael R Wild (talk) 04:21, 28 June 2009 (UTC) Michael R Wild 05:13, 8 October 2009 (UTC) I have received a declassified investigation of Art Bell in 1942. I have updated a few new facts.[reply]

Death[edit]

I think this is him: ARTHUR BELL 14 Feb 1891 Mar 1973 07003 (Bloomfield, Essex, NJ) (none specified) 136-03-5464 New Jersey

You can get the certificate for just about $10.

He died in 1973 in Bloomfield and he was born before the century so that has to be him. Should I get a certificate to get that section finished?

Michael R Wild (talk) 00:19, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes he was born 14 Feb 1891 and that is him. Michael R Wild (talk) 04:23, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to add him to Findagrave, but you should add him, so you can update as you get new information. Did you order his death certificate yet? --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 02:50, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello?[edit]

Michael --

I seem to be a distant relative of yours... Obvious you have some "data" I don't have and never heard. How can you be so sure that the Vaudville Bell is the same as the Klan Bell?

Tbellindc (talk) 16:34, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

I have all of the information from his daughter and I am sorry to say that he is the same. I have the FBI reports and so on that describe him as the same person.

Sorry I just saw the note six month later.
