Notability of AndrewSmith[edit]

The article AndrewSmith has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article was about a person, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies.

I'm sorry if this article is somehow necessary for a project—perhaps school related?—but Wikipedia has content guidelines and policies that make such pages problematic. Wikipedia is not a webspace provider, and article submitted to Wikipedia must conform to content criteria for inclusion. I have moved the material back to your userspace in case it may be of use to you there; however, this does not mean that it will be deleted again. Wikipedia:User page sets out the proper uses for user pages. It is not a homepage, but is meant to assist you in working on Wikipedia or help identify you in that context to other editors.

Feel free to leave another note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:51, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
