sounds great. TeamViewer was rated in a lot of German IT magazines but it quite lacks english sources. Nevertheless it is so wide spread that I will have a look today to find neutral third party references.

Thanks for your help. And yes I admitt it frankly that I´m directly from TeamViewer. The reason for the Wikipedia entry is that our users told us to edit the TeamViewer page as a lot of other not so widely spread tools for remote assistance are mentioned. The article comparison of remote desktop software tipped the scale:)

Ok, no problem - just be aware of the WP:COI policy. Basically, don't remove criticisms yourself, ask someone else to have a look (like me!) and discuss on the article talk page. I have used TV but I don't think I've seen any reviews, but I'll look through some archives soon. I'd be interested in some information on the privacy aspects and how the addressing system works (a computer keeps the same address even if on a different network - snazzy, but are there any privacy/tracking implications). By the way, so long as it's framed correctly, basic facts about Teamviewer can be sourced to the company website. Just avoid press releases or stuff like "teamviewer is the best (ref: teamviewer)". Something like "works on Mac/Vista/Linux" can be sourced to the company directly. Claims should be framed as such, eg "TV claims it uses 258 qubit quantum cryptography".
