Arvind Singh

Arvind Singh (born 8th July 1962) is the lead guitarist of Indian Rock Band Hundred Octane. A mechanical engineer who quit his job to pursue his passion of music.

Early Life & Career

Founder and lead guitarist of the band Hundred Octane (since 1993) one of the pioneers of Indian rock n roll bands. A TEDx speaker[1], a teacher, a poet, a musician, Arvind Singh believes that to live, there should be Rock n’ Roll, and who plays Guitars, Ukulele, Oud, Harmonica, Saxophone, etc.

He firmly believes that humanity is the essence of life which also reflects in the songs that he writes about the injustices of society. He’s been a teacher for almost 16 years and has produced more than 200 successful musicians in India. He also organised a huge fundraiser for Rock for Child rights[2] in 2003 and is a huge supporter of numerous NGO(s) such as bhumi.
