Just so you know...[edit]

Hello Annette,

Thank you for your contributions to WikiPedia. Just so you know, the edit you recently made to the Pennsylvania Wing Civil Air Patrol page should not have been marked as minor. The guidelines for marking edits as minor can be found at wp:Minor, but to summarize that page, checking the minor edit box signifies that the current and previous versions differ only superficially (typographical corrections, etc.), in a way that no editor would be expected to regard as disputable. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if the edit concerns a single word, and it is improper to mark such an edit as minor. Additionally, edits that delete material should never be marked as minor unless the content being deleted constitutes vandalism (and those edits should be completed using the 'undo' option to ensure that material deleted by the vandal is restored.) Annette, your contributions to WikiPedia are important, and they are appreciated. Best wishes.
