Welcome![edit]

Hello, Americafyeah2013, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. A tag has been placed on File:MyrtlesPlantationMirror.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your recent editing history at Gurdon Light shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - LuckyLouie (talk) 20:04, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jacona. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Gurdon Light—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | tålk 23:39, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like you went from occasional constructive edits to non constructive edits. Reverting non constructive edits is not stalking. It is curating the encyclopedia.

Thank you for using the Unblock Ticket Request System. I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. This requires greater discussion than is possible via UTRS. Please concisely and clearly describe how your editing merited a block, what you would do differently, and what constructive edits you would make. Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks) As you still have access to your talk page, please post your unblock request to your user talk page, omitting any off-Wiki personally identifying information. If you have not already done so, please place the following at the bottom of your talk page, filling in "Your reason here "

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

I for one am looing forward to your explanation for the Gurdon Light edits. Thanks. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 09:08, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, someone has a personal vendetta against me and is subjecting me to cyber bullying. Please refer to the Gurdon Light Talk page, there's a trail of insulting messages and personal attacks directed towards me. I believe my history of constructive edits should warrant a reversal of my ban. Thank you. Americafyeah2013 (talk) 05:10, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which is not a reason to edit war, and it looks like you were using sock puppets(?) There were concerns raised about that image, and by more than one user. And yes, @Mister49: has definitely made some creepy edit summaries. Can't speak for @Bishonen:, but I think to be unblocked you would need to describe what to do instead of edit warning. Please read the WP:GAB. Blaming others to justify one's edits is never an effective strategy. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 08:10, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Deepfriedokra for a reasonable, objective and intelligent response. I'm no longer interested in going forward with the appeal. If you can forward me a manager's phone number or email, I'd like to report @Bishonen for harassment. Americafyeah2013 (talk) 16:52, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your history of constructive edits? You have made 51 edits altogether. Most of them are nonsense such as trying to force a blurry and indeterminate photo into Gurdon Light by edit warring. I warned you here that you'd be blocked if you added it again - a warning which you blanked and ignored. You went on to comprehensively vandalize the article, and then to add the image again. Of course I blocked you — I'm not sure what you expected at that point. I note also that your statement that "there's a trail of insulting messages and personal attacks" directed towards you on the article talkpage is untrue. And, as Deepfriedokra says, it's pretty clear that you used sockpuppets to vandalize the talkpage (which you have never edited from your own account). Finally, of your 51 edits made over ten years, many of the early ones were concerned with similar nonsense at Myrtles Plantation (adding another ridiculous image). I would not unblock this account.
