Willa Cather

Hello, Ammodramus! I appreciate your preference for words in your change at Willa Cather from "1922-1939" to "from 1922 to 1939". However, I believe the time phrase may be in the wrong place in the sentence. Putting it at the end as it is now suggests that she "traveled widely" and spent time at her house in Canada only during those years, when I believe the time period refers only to the years she spent time at her home in Canada. I'm not sure exactly when she traveled, but since she moved to Pittsburgh in 1896 and to New York in 1906, it is very possible that she traveled before 1922. In fact, at least one trip to Europe is mentioned in the section "Career". I suggest moving the time phrase to right before the word "spent". CorinneSD (talk) 00:57, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Correction on Wikimedia Commons Photo

Hello, Ammodramus!

I happened to stumble across one of your contributions on Wikimedia Commons, and would like to respectfully provide a correction to the description. (I apologize if I am broaching Wiki etiquette by addressing this on your talk page, or am oblivious to a better way to bring this to your attention. I am not a regular Wiki user, and am unfamiliar with the editing process.) The house you have photographed was built by the Earhart family in 1939-1940. It is not currently listed on the NRHP, unfortunately. The J.F. Zoellin house is approximately one block south of this location, on the opposite side of the street.
