Your recent edit to OrientDB appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Anandchandak15. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Oracle NoSQL Database, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

Hello Stesmo, I appreciate your effort in moderating the Wikipedia - kudos to you!. But, my humble request to you would be to PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE links without 1) notifying 2) getting all the facts about the articles. I am not sure what do you mean by promotional content, the article in question described all the features that the product has, there were links pointing to other Wikipedia pages describing the underlying computer science fundamentals (refer to topics like PAXOS, Distributed Systems, High Availability,Replication, API's) that are part of product's architecture and design. The knowledge of which would be highly useful for students pursing distributed system as specialization, academia and of-course to the large developer community associated with this product. Well, I laud your effort in maintaining the sanity of this forum, scanning plethora of articles and advising contributors on best particles, but with due respect may I ask you what credentials do you have on this particular subject ? Also,please bear in mind, the product in question is not "only" a commercial product, there's a free version for the same and is extensively used by students, researchers and the development community building innovative product using the platform offered here who would get impacted if there's not public information on Wikipedia. So my humble request to you would be to please reach out to me via Wikipedia message or email before editing any content and I willing to answer any question for on this specific topic. Just to let you know, I am reverting your changes.

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. You do not WP:OWN this article or any other on Wikipedia. I've actually replied to you on my Talk page after the first time you told me to stop editing the article with no reply from you. I am removing your edits because they are not meeting the standards of Wikipedia. Major issues: It's violating the three Core Content Policies of Wikipedia of Neutral Point of View, No Original Research and Verifiability. Nearly the entire article as you've edited it is based on press releases, company product pages and other Oracle/Partner pages. While it's OK to have a few, minor details backed up with company/first-party sources, the majority of the article should be backed up with reliable, third-party, published sources (not from Oracle/Partners, not press releases, not blog posts, etc.) for verification that what is being said is true.

Your edits are promoting the product, whether there is a free version or not. Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. I don't need to be an expert in a product to recognize promotional language in "making it an excellent choice for enterprise-grade, mission-critical NoSQL applications" and other passages. Being an expert isn't good enough for Wikipedia; you need to be able to prove to other people with the above-mentioned reliable sources as footnotes.

Stesmo, if you have problem with one line, then I can modify that. But, what I am unable to understand is why have you removed the entire feature description ? There are tons of articles on Wikipedia about different products right from cars to sanitary products. Oracle nosql db's competing products like mongodb are also listed and there's a feature section them too. So, then why this specific article treated differently ?. If you find objection with some specific phrases or word, I am more than happy to edit that.

Based on your edits, it appears you have a conflict of interest (perhaps you have a business relationship or are otherwise paid to promote this product or company). If that is true, please keep your edits to the Talk page of the article. If you do not have a business relationship with the subject of the article, please take a moment to see how your edits are giving that impression. And, please heed these warnings before your account is blocked. Perhaps after learning a bit more about how Wikipedia works from the links I've included above your edits won't be reverted as often and you'll be a prized Wikipedia editor.
