Sources[edit]

The article Quba Educational Trust is going to need some references if it's going to stay. Please see referencing for beginners, and notability guidelines for organizations. If you have any questions, ask here or at Talk:Quba Educational Trust. Bradv 15:39, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Bradv: Now added a source by Kakli Subramaniam from TOI Anas647 (talk) 15:47, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you figured out how to add references, but neither of those articles mention Quba. Are you sure you added the right ones? Bradv 15:50, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And now the references have been removed by Bonadea (talk · contribs), as they don't mention Quba. Would it be helpful if this page were moved to draft status? That way you can edit at your leisure, and submit it for review when you feel it is ready. Let me know what you think. Bradv 16:08, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
From my point of view it would make sense to wait for the SPI to run its course, Bradv - if this account is not blocked as a sockpuppet the article could be draftified (even though there is no indication of significance, much less notability), but if it is found to be yet another sock, which appears very likely given their editing pattern, there would be little point in doing that. --bonadea contributions talk 16:21, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Bonadea: First of all, shouldn't there be a notice somewhere on this talk page that there's an SPI going on? Secondly, let's WP:AGF in the meantime. Innocent until proven guilty, don't bite the newcomers, and all that. Bradv 16:24, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
SPI closed, CU results show that it is the same person, user blocked. AGF is, as they say, not a suicide pact and this was really a very obvious sock; in those cases it is not necessarily constructive to tell the user about the SPI. In any case there is a clear note on the talk page of the article, as you know. --bonadea contributions talk 08:40, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Quba Educational Trust[edit]

The article Quba Educational Trust has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:ORG. No references given to establish notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
