Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Just leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions. --Merovingian (t) (c) July 4, 2005 05:17 (UTC)

Hi, thanks, I've been poking around here for a few months, making a few anon edits. I'm an admin of a wiki so I know my way around the software. :) --Andy Janata 4 July 2005 05:19 (UTC)
That's great. Have a nice time, and hopefully you can be an admin here, too, eventually. --Merovingian (t) (c) July 4, 2005 06:00 (UTC)

RopeMarks[edit]

I've rewritten the RopeMarks article, shortening it down heavily, and removing all personal stories by Bob and Chantal. This of course doesn't change the notability but it stops the article from being an advertisement. In the process I've removed your speedy delete tag, you can put it back if you like. 2005 US GP[edit]

How do you know how the system of Foruma 1 works? Oh yeah why don't you look at this link 2005 Brazilian Grand Prix and I have proven it already formula1.com made errors with the results. Just want to know if you know those F1 statistican David Hayhoe or Autosport's Peter Higham, they are very clever on F1 History and have written books of F1. Also see 2005 USA Talk page for more added info. Believe me my friend that I have correct information how the race start works who has started a race or hasn't. Here is a question for you now! The drivers who have Ret (according to you all lot) before the green light in 2005-USA will all the drivers actually get a race start counted towards their race starts career? Talking about the drivers who didn't race in that. By the end of the year you will see drivers who didn't race in the 2005 USA will have started 18 races not 19 as they DNS in 2005 USA race. Andreasu 02 October 2005.

Button will start his 100th race start in the 2005-China race. But according to wikipedia when doing the math by adding all Button race starts it would be his 101st race start in China as Button has been listed as Ret instead of DNS for this year 2005-USA race. Does this make sense to you. Andreasu 03 October 2005 12:02

150th race start for JV?[edit]

Jacques Villeneuve is to make is his 150th race start in the 2005 Japan race if he takes the race start, but now according to wikipedia Villeneuve did start the 2005 USA race so that makes Villeneuve has already started his 150th race in the last grand prix at the Brazilian Grand Prix which is incorrect. As Villeneuve did not take part in the race start for the 2005 USA race. Andreasu 04 October 2005, 13:40.

It's all well and good that you're trying to make your point, but until you can provide some hard evidence that it's DNS instead of Ret (such as a link to an official site, not some site on a free web host), I must agree with Fred Bradstadt, CrispinFlowerday, slowpokeiv, and Dan in that it should show Ret instead of DNS. Official results are official, dammit, unless some other official results prove them wrong. By definition, your links [1] and [2] are not official. Andy Janata 11:34, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wews logo.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wews logo.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Your monobook[edit]

Hi, Andy. I am not sure what caused the problem but your monobook page is categorized in Category:Egypt stubs. Please fix this. Thank you. --Meno25 08:10, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Input request[edit]

Hi Andy Janata, there is some discussion currently going on here, and I noticed you have {{User anime}} on your userpage. If you are not too busy, I would appreciate it if you could drop some of your ideas on how to reform the portal on the aforementioned talk page. Thanks! « ANIMUM » 00:38, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:Wjw logo.gif[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Wjw logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:59, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
