Type to me - but do so politely[edit]

Hope I'm discussing this in the right place. I'm writing about the Alan Cockrell article, and my understanding is that it was your edit that said the Alan suffered a football career ending injury in the 1983 Florida Citrus Bowl. I'm wondering about the basis of that edit. I remember that the massive knee injury that sidelined him for most of the 1981 season was on about the third play of the game against Colorado state, which was the only game he started after winning the job in an impressive performance against USC in the fourth quarter the game before. Cockrell came back the following two years to start for the Vols (and was not refused a redshirt status for the freshman season he missed) but it was my visual impression that he never had the mobility he had prior to the injury. I don't remember anything about an injury during the 1983 Citrus bowl, but I could be wrong. I'm curious about the source for that. Thanks. Cphilipd (talk) 23:19, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PROD on Madam[edit]

Hello AnonTech: I have removed the PROD on Madam since, in my opinion, the article is much more than a dictionary definition. If you wish, you may take it to WP:AFD. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 20:12, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
