DOMS NITT[edit]

But it is related to topic in the page. I mean I just checked this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mood_Indigo_(festival) are these encyclopedic images? Well I uploaded it so as to verify that the events do certainly take place. The point is if someone looks at the people in the image and if they visit the institute to verify, then they can find those students in the institute and that the students and the faculties do exits and that they are not hired models. just to have authenticity of the information in the article. Do Upload only images that are relevant to the context and encyclopedic. You've uploaded as many images and added all of them to the article which is unnecessary. When it comes to photos individuals such as your senior faculty, they aren't necessary since those people are completely unnotable and do not add any encyclopedic value to the article. —Vensatry _{(Ping me)} 08:00, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I have uploaded 2 new pics. Please have a look at it. Please let me know of the concern so that if any changes are necessary I can do it. I have use it as 300px image as reduction in size makes it look more hazy. I tried making it a |thumb| but the page orientation changes I mean both the images comes to rightside and gets in to the areas of the references and see also. Bangalore chapter meet 47th but what is the fuss about it? I have come to wikipedia to contribute not to make any disruptive edit or create issues, I have registered in october 2011 but only recently started editing in 2012 May and liked doing it and tried helping and encouraging others but your continuous prosecution and interrogative question have made me uninterested in even logging into here. I was a little confused with the user names of both the accounts and thought it might be your alternative account. Since yourself being a newbie (might be unaware of sockpuppetry policies), I just thought of notify you that multiple accounts are not allowed in WP (can be used only for legitimate purposes). I don't think I was discouraging you (or any user) at any point of time. It is a user's wish to contribute/stay away from WP. Without doubt NIT Trichy is a notable institution and so is DoMS. But what makes the finance club a notable one. It has no notability outside DoMS. I doubt whether it is notable with in the scope of NIT Trichy (outside DoMS). Hi there, the big issues are the citations. Most of them are not reliable. Organizations are deemed notable generally because they are covered extensively in reliable sources - such as news websites, etc (not self published things such as blogs, press releases, the organization or their counterparts websites). Adding reference on wiki articles[edit]

Hello Anshumandutta! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
Then click on "templates",
Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,
