Yep. I fixed the image here: [1]. See what I did? We don't actually use the http link, we just use the name of it; so instead of "http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jerpic1a.jpg" use "File:Jerpic1a.jpg", like Jarkeld said.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 09:07, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Your first attempt to insert the image was almost right, but you misspelled the file name: you had Jerpicia instead of Jerpic1a. (When you inserted http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/ you were lost.) The correct syntax is [[File:Jerpic1a.jpg|right|thumb|200px|The 1st Earl of St Albans.]] —teb728 t c 09:30, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

No problem Anthony. It is totally overwhelming at first, but it gets easier to understand in time. How I learned everything was pretty much by watching other people edit articles. What you could do is put a number of articles that your interested in into your 'watchlist'. Just tick the star which appears to the right of "View History" near the top of every article. That way when every time you log in, or when you click "My watchlist", you can see when someone edits or updates those articles, and you can see how the edit them. I noticed your question because I've got Wikipedia:Help desk on my watchlist, and noticed that at that moment no one had given you an answer.
