Association

Dear Antoine: Hi. I wanted to ask you about a possible Hispanic wikipedians association here on the English wikipedia. The purpose would be to trade assignments with members of other Hispanic countries, so that they would write about a topic pertaining to our country while we write about a topic pertaining to theirs. Like a trade. We would benefit a lot by learning about our history as a whole and having other Latinos learn about our own countries at the same time.

That way also, we would promote unity between our paises hermanos. We could become an example to Hispanics around the world. Unfortunately, some Hispanics do believe we are not brothers, and we can begin with our example to prove them wrong.

What do you think, would you be interested in joining such an association?

Estimado Antoine: No te preocupes por el Ingles. Estariamos mas que honrados de tener tu presencia en la asociacion de wikipedians hispanos. La idea es que yo, por ejemplo, te presente un proyecto que tu puedas investigar y escribir sobre este, de mi pais Puerto Rico y tu me pides que escriba sobre cualquier tema Chileno, y asi nos seguimos intercambiando ideas entre los miembros del proyecto. Asi nos enriquecemos al aprender mas de nuestra cultura, leyendo y escribiendo sobre temas y personalidades que, si bien son Hispanos o Latino Americanos, traspasan nuestras fronteras nacionales. Y del ingles tu no te preocupes, para eso estan los demas si escribes algo incorrecto, eso se arregla.

Pronto, quiza manana, te enviare la pagina de la asociacion para que te apuntes si quieres. Ya sabes, sera un honor tenerte alli.

Hola Antoine. Queria decirte que ya tienes tu primera peticion en Wikipedia:Association of Hispanic and Latin American writers. Ahora tu tambien puedes pedirme a mi que yo me ocupe de escribir sobre algun tema de tu pais. Y no te preocupes por el Ingles, me imagino que tu sabes ingles al moenos leible, o domo decimos los Boricuas, "rte defiendes". Y para eso estamos los demas, si algo no se entiende lo arreglamos. La cosa es que mires tu asignacion y me pongas una sobre Chile a mi.
