May 2009[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Agnisys, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. MLauba (talk) 08:08, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup templates on Agnisys[edit]

Hello, It may not have been your intention but you removed the above article's cleanup templates. As a general practice these indicate core issues in an article which have to be addressed, and should only be removed once these issues have been fixed. Regards, --MLauba (talk) 09:26, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the cleanup templates[edit]

Hi, Being my first time, I thought the system would add it even when I remove it. I guess we are not supposed to remove'em. Now the question is how to not have them on the page? True, its my company I'm writing about, but I have provided references and I think its a neutral article. So I'm wondering if I can do something. Oh, another thing, I didn't realize you were a real person reviewing my articles! Its good to know there are actual people behind this and not just software :) User:Anupambakshi

What any article needs in order to meet the policies on verifiability and maintaining a neutral point of view are independent third-party reliable sources covering its topic in a significant manner. In other words, other publications who have written about Agnisys, what it does and how it does it. Press releases, short company profiles such as those found on partner pages, trivial mentions do not qualify as such. Providing enough such independent coverage could get rid of all templates but the conflict of interest one, which will get reviewed by other editors. If you need any assistance, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page. --MLauba (talk) 10:32, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Agnisysinc h.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Agnisysinc h.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:06, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Agnisysinc h.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Agnisysinc h.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:38, 23 February 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:38, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
