Please do not remove maintenance templates as you did at Derek Chatterton without addressing the issues involved. This can be seen as disruptive editing and may lead to the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 19:35, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Derek Chatterton[edit]

Please help me with... Derek Chatterton, thankyou to 'Eagleash' for helping previously. All information and pictures have been verified and authorised by Derek Chatterton personally, I am not fully conversant with the citation and verification procedures for Wiki at this time but all the information on this page has been resourced from personal archive material owned by Derek Chatterton himself.I will attend to the list in a sortable format in due course. Hope this helps with the alert at the page heading and may assist in it's removal ?

Hello,
The page does not have any in-line citations to verify the content. What's required is references to significant discussion of the subject in independent third party reliable sources. What the subject of an article may have to say about themselves does not carry much weight on Wikipedia as it is not independent and there is an obvious conflict of interest. Articles about the subject in reputable publications / websites are needed. Any that chatterton may have in his possession could be used as long as they are independent. Please also see WP:REFB for a guide to adding references and WP:CITET for a list of templates to use. Eagleash (talk) 09:47, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
