Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm looking forward to your students' contributions on history of fashion.

Several of us have been working on Polonaise (clothing) which they might find of interest. The talk page is lively and civilized, as these things go...a good example of editors finding consensus. Good luck with your program. - PKM (talk) 07:30, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, PKM! We'll take a look at. This is such an interesting way to learn and collaborate. More soon... Arauser (talk) 14:43, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want me to split 1750–1795 in fashion for you? It's probably a bit tricky for a relatively new user. I don't want to trip your students up. - PKM (talk) 03:37, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let me ask them in class tomorrow (Wed, 2/29) and I'll get back to you. Thanks for this kind offer of help! Arauser (talk) 16:11, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good.
You might also review Wikipedia:Close_paraphrasing with the students. Some of the content that is being posted seems like it might be following its sources a bit too closely. - PKM (talk) 22:44, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting article[edit]

The split is done! 1750–1775 in fashion and 1775–1795 in fashion. - PKM (talk) 21:25, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
