February 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SunDawn. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Austro-Turkish War (1788–1791)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. SunDawntalk 07:55, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.

Remember: Stop adding information in the article that is not backed by reliable sources. Coltsfan (talk) 12:59, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New warning[edit]

Again, i'd advise you to stop adding or changing information with no sources. All material must be attributable to reliable, published sources. Per WP:UNSOURCED, "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material". You have been doing that repeatedly and was warned about this. If you choose not to change this behaviour, you might be blocked, per policy guidelines. I hope you reconsider, and take a good read at WP:V and WP:RS. Thanks for the attention, Coltsfan (talk) 14:12, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Notice

The article Capture of the North Frisian Islands has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to meet notability guidelines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Battle of Procida (1809) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Battle of Procida (1809), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Modussiccandi (talk) 16:08, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please try to adequately present the sources used for the information in the article. Simply giving vague references to the tittle of a book is not sufficient. Have a look at WP:REF. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 16:10, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
