File copyright problem with File:Killzone3HelghastEditionEU.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Killzone3HelghastEditionEU.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Armbrust Talk Contribs 12:39, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GT5 cover[edit]

Hello, I'm not sure if you are aware, but the reason that the version of the GT5 cover that you uploaded has been reverted is because the Wikipedia Video Games Project has guidelines on cover images, one of the guidelines is that the region an image is from (Europe, North America etc) should not be changed if there is a cover from another region already present. Consensus on this was reached due to users constantly swapping cover art to "the correct region" based on various reasons like "More people live in country X", "It sold more in country Y", "The programmer's brother-in-law lives in country Z" etc. After we'd battled our way through various points of view we eventually reached consensus and arrived at the text that is now located here WP:VGIMAGES.

PS. Good work excluding the exclusive ad-speak exclusively from the other articles. - X201 (talk) 10:52, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Gran Turismo 5. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Marketing language[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Gran Turismo 5 do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I removed your edits because they appeared to be taken directly from a press release. I kept the link for the information, but reworded the information to remove puffery (such as 'ground-breaking' and 'opportunity of a lifetime'). Please see WP:NOTADVERTISING for more on why advertising language is not appropriate for Wikipedia. Thank you! Bakkster Man (talk) 13:31, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
