Date Format[edit]

Please be aware of the date formatting guidelines for Wikipedia at WP:MOS or WP:ERA. The numerical year should be separated from the era by only a single non-breaking space, often added to the page using " ", so 400 BCE will usually look like 400 BCE in the page's markup, but will look like 400 BCE on the page. The reason for doing this is to prevent the year and era from being separated from each other during a line-wrap (where the year is at the end of one line, and the era is at the beginning of the next). I hope this was helpful. :) — al-Shimoni (talk) 02:42, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:12, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Ungulate[edit]

Ari - thanks for your e-mail about edits to the Ungulate page, however, I am afraid you are mistaken.
If you look at the page's edit history, which is here you can see my only edit to that page was on 29 January 2016‎, whereas your additions were on 14 February 2016, so I did not "toss" them.

Numerous articles use the phrase "right-wing" and "anti-Muslim". See wp:NPOV for policy. Please feel free to add to the ongoing discussions on the talk page. Jim1138 (talk) 06:05, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. ––FormalDude talk 03:35, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wondering if stable version is best till the 2 talks are over. It's clearly a contested new addition.Moxy- 03:43, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My edit was am attempt to introduce the neutral term "discourse" to replace the clearly tendentious "propaganda". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ari in Jericho (talkcontribs) 07:32, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ari in Jericho: Using "discourse" in this context would be false balance which is a violation of neutrality. Not to mention you're going against the consensus which has formed on the article talk page. ––FormalDude talk 07:58, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What consensus? Wikipedia is not a polling effort but an attempt to produce a dynamic encyclopaedia. However, I believe that there is a consensus in most standard published dictionaries that the term, "propaganda", is negative while "discourse" is neutral.
