Koprol[edit]

Please note that WP:RS are more important than external links in Indonesian - thanks SatuSuro 10:22, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Koprol for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Koprol, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Koprol until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Kudpung (talk) 06:00, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Tari topeng.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tari topeng.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:05, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Wikipedia:WikiElephas. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Copyright violation in Genderuwa[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the page Genderuwa, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License." You may also e-mail or mail the Foundation to release the content. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more.

While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Dpmuk (talk) 22:18, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Interlanguage links[edit]

Hi, regarding your addition of interlanguage links to pages like Transverse wave, Quran reading and Help:Magic words: please note that per WP:FOOTERS, these should be placed at the bottom of the article, not at the bottom of a section. --Redrose64 (talk) 18:24, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For me it's no problem, it can be fixed by botts. Aris riyanto (talk) 01:26, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This approach relies on a bot arriving fairly soon to make the correction. The only bots that do this sort of correction are those which add, amend and remove interlanguage links, and unless the page has a large number of equivalents in other languages, that might not occur for weeks or even months. Consider this one: no bot had touched it in the two months before I fixed it. Before a bot fixes it, somebody else might decide to remove it because it shouldn't be there. If they don't know what interlanguage links are, they might remove it simply because they think that it does nothing.
Also, you don't have to post the same message seven times. Once is more than enough, because having posted here, I'm watching this page (see User talk:Redrose64/Editnotice). --Redrose64 (talk) 15:00, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I see that you have chosen to ignore the above messages, and are still posting interwiki links in the wrong places. Please don't. The fact that it is no problem for you is irrelevant: it may be a problem for other people. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:29, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How to write subject/headline by querystring on my browser? Help me please Aris riyanto (talk) 04:25, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are trying to make edits or to search for something? MorganKevinJ(talk) 05:06, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Are you asking how to link to a specific headline on a page using the querystring in the URL? If so, the answer is that the headline should be separated from the page title by a hash/pound symbol ("#"). For example, if you wanted to link to this section, you would use the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Aris_riyanto#help. —JmaJeremyƬalkCont 05:26, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I want to edit and to maintain the Indonesian Wikipedia, e.g. to make a request like this. Help me please. Aris riyanto (talk) 05:30, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If we create a new section edit, will have a blank subject/headline text box, my question is how to fill the headline box without typing it but by the querystring on the address bar e.g. id.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Aris_riyanto&action=edit&section=15&preload= Aris riyanto (talk) 05:35, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're looking for something like this (though it's obviously tailored for a specific other purpose) but it should give you some idea about how to go about it if you have familiarity with coding.

{{fullurl:{{TALKPAGENAME}}|action=edit&section=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+{{pagetype|subjectspace=yes}}+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+}} . You will need to create whatever preload template that will work with the URL you're placing.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 06:04, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thank you. Aris riyanto (talk) 06:11, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: X Factor (Indonesia)[edit]

Hello Aris riyanto. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of X Factor (Indonesia), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not a blatant hoax. Try WP:PROD or WP:AfD instead. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:57, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am Indonesian, in Indonesian was never (and may be will be never) have X Factor (Indonesia) Aris riyanto (talk) 02:59, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That may be so, but for speedy deletion under that criterion it has to be such a blatant hoax that it is obvious to anyone without special knowledge. However, it has been speedily deleted under a different criterion, as it was a repost of an article that had already been deleted as a result of a deletion discussion. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:17, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

I use {{REVISIONUSER}} but it produce spaces not underscore, so it makes an error if I use it into the bracket [], e.g. if I write [http://test.1.2.3/?user={{subst:REVISIONUSER}} test] so it will be made riyanto test, whereas I want to write just test. Help me fix it, I will use it to improve Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia. How to produce username without space? Please Aris riyanto (talk) 04:14, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Revision user is only for Wikipedia use, it won't expand for urls. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:19, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I know it, do you think I am stupid? Aris riyanto (talk) 07:32, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You could try {{urlencode:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}}, giving John+of+Reading or {{anchorencode:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}}, giving John_of_Reading. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:42, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Al-Watwan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Moroni (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
