You ask how your article differs from the Jordie Albiston and Jaya Savige articles. These may not be ideal articles, but at least:

According to the article, Jordie Albiston was awarded the 1996 Mary Gilmore Award. And the article verifies this with a reference to the ASAL website.

According to the article, Jaya Savige was awarded the 2006 Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry. And the article verifies this with a reference to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald.

In contrast, so far as I can tell, your article does not indicate how Ray Liversidge may be notable, and its only reference is to a blog (which is not considered a reliable source). —teb728 t c 22:26, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Ray Liversidge[edit]

A tag has been placed on Ray Liversidge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time.
