Jann Lee[edit]

No, I haven't ever played the game, nor have I even heard of it. I was just letting you know which edit it was that caused the warning. You may want to take it up with the user that put the warning on your talk page. You can see who it was by clicking on "history" at the top of this page. The user's name is in the list of edits for your talk page. Were they hasty with the warning? In my opinion, probably. But you'll have to take it up with them. Dismas|(talk) 13:14, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then i guess i was hasty, i'm sorry. I will take the warning away. I haven't played DOA4 (I have played up to DOA3 including DOA2U and can't continue because they moved it on to Xbox360 which i won't give comments about that since this is wikipedia.)

Thanks for taking time for knowing my mistake, i really apricate it. -Dynamo_ace Talk

Re: Dead or Alive characters[edit]

The issue isn't in-game notability, but notability as a stand-alone real world subject when taken out of the series, namely the fact that very few if any of the characters have actual reception (which is why Nicole (Dead or Alive) retains an article). If you can find development information and reception for an individual character that you can make a full article with then reviving it is a good idea. Otherwise, it shouldn't have an article (for the record, a great deal of fighting games went through cleanup, so DoA characters weren't targetted exclusively).

If you need further information, give a shout and I'll try to answer the best I can.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 20:05, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
