Kevin Mitnick[edit]

Do you have a specific concern with that site? It appears to be a fairly reputable site used for public communication by many different funeral homes, the specific funeral home posting that obituary certainly seems to exist (via Facebook and other search results), and both the domain WHOIS and archive.org trace the obituary site's history back to 1999.

While I concede it would be possible for someone to troll the security community by hacking this site, I don't think that's very likely--do you? demize (t · c) 00:59, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We also have confirmation from SecurityWeek now, which is a reputable third-party source, so I've added in that citation and restored the information regarding his death. demize (t · c) 01:13, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've not checked your sources but i trust your good faith. I think being a little late on wikipedia is better than being fooled. a good thing we've made (talk) 03:15, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
