Oh ok sorry. What is supposed to be done when someone keeps persistently adding false information? I'm unsure of what the proper response is if not to just revert it? Artemis Panthar (talk) 01:26, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

This case is a bit borderline since it's not "clearly" vandalism, but I think I could make a case that it is (especially given the edit summaries). There is an exemption to 3RR for vandalism and which this appears to be. Warning the user about their disruptive behavior is a good start for cases like this (which I just did). But, for future reference, if this is just a content dispute, it's always best to start a discussion on the article talk page. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 01:32, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

OK, I'll make sure to do that next time. I apologize for acting rashly, I run a lot of discussions about SU on Tumblr and people were citing that episode description as fact because it was on Wikipedia but I knew it to be false (and now the episode has since aired and its confirmed the description they kept adding was completely fabricated) and I wanted to fix it before rumors spread too much. No worries. For the future please know that information added to Wikipedia must be confirmed by an official source, you can't add assumptions or guesses (it just causes a lot of confusion!). Wait until June 4 and June 11; if the episodes don't air on those dates, I, myself, will take down both of the dates. NO, that is not how this works. Wikipedia pages are not for wild guesses, they're for confirmed information ONLY. You may ONLY add the information to the page once it's confirmed by a valid source. You are not allowed to post guesses, that's not what the page is for and its not a "wait and see" situation. Why don't you wait for the information to be announced and THEN add it to the page, rather than adding potentially false information and asserting it should stay on the page just in case its correct? I'm not in charge of that, but it was put up due to excessive vandalism and probably shouldn't be removed yet. If you register for an account, it will usually let you edit. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
