Managing a conflict of interest[edit]
Hello, Artist789. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Your first action in this project was to add a link to its website. Wikipedia does not tolerate promotion of any kind. Hi there! I am very new to wikipedia and did not know the nature of the guidelines. I am indeed an intern for the organization and was attempting to adjust some outdated information on our already existing wikipedia page. I was adding in new dates of exhibitions that have already occurred and connecting them to the artists we show (which is why I also edited the William Christenberry page along with the Alma Thomas page). I am sorry that I was unaware of the guidelines. I attempted to inquire today how I can restore the nature of the Hemphill Fine Arts page prior to my edits, but I did not add any additional information to any pages. I wish to be unblocked due to the fact that I will not be making any more edits on the page and I was simply confused. Thank you for all of your help. Artist789 (talk) 21:55, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
